In January 2021, the cast was rounded out with Cary Elwes, Bugzy Malone and Josh Hartnett in supporting roles. In December of the same year, Aubrey Plaza joined the cast. Produced by Miramax, the project will be distributed by STXfilms.

When talking about the reason for making the movie, Ritchie explained to EW, "The truth is I wanted another alibi to give me a reason to work with Jason again because I enjoy collaborating with him so much." Reluctantly paired with CIA high-tech expert Sarah Fidel, Fortune sets off on a globe-trotting mission where he will have to use all of his charm, ingenuity, and stealth to track down and infiltrate billionaire arms broker Greg Simmonds.” In the film, “MI6 guns-and-steel agent Orson Fortune (Statham) is recruited by a global intelligence alliance ‘Five Eyes’ to track down and stop the sale of a deadly new weapons technology that threatens to disrupt the world order.
The movie also stars Aubrey Plaza, Josh Hartnett, Bugzy Malone, Cary Elwes, and Hugh Grant.
